Tiny Eden

Tiny Eden release date

Tiny Eden released on 7 September 2026. The date was confirmed both on the Steam store listing and in the developers' own announcement of 3 August 2026, and it shipped as a complete 1.0 release rather than entering Early Access.

The apartment is the whole map. Every surface — windowsill, shelf, floor — is growing space.

The date is confirmed twice over

The Steam store page shows a release date of 7 September 2026, and the coming-soon flag is now cleared — the listing reads as released and carries a live price. The developers announced the same date in a post on 3 August 2026.

They followed it with per-region release times in the 1 September announcement, and the game went out on schedule: the launch post "Tiny Eden — Available Now!" is dated 7 September.

The run-up in order

The project has a long public trail. What follows is taken from the developers' own Steam announcements, in date order.

The two wishlist posts are worth noting because they show acceleration rather than a flat number.

Wishlists doubled in 15 days

The developers posted a 50,000-wishlist milestone on 17 August 2026. On 1 September they thanked 100,000 players who had wishlisted the game, and the launch announcement six days later cited 150,000+.

That is a tripling inside three weeks, running straight into launch. All three figures come from the developers' own posts rather than third-party estimates.

It is a full 1.0, not Early Access

Asked directly whether the game would enter Early Access, the developers answered no — it launches as a full 1.0 release.

They have separately committed to DLCs, free updates and major content expansions covering new plants, recipes, mechanics and locations after launch.

What you can play before then

A free demo ran on Steam from 8 July 2026 until around the 7 September launch. It is no longer listed — a store search now returns only the game and its two DLC.

The base game is priced at $14.99 USD, with an optional $2.99 Goodies Pack containing cosmetics.

What ships on day one

The 1.0 build includes around 40 plant species across microgreens, root vegetables, flowers and berry bushes, at least 40 recipes, soil simulated across seven components, plant breeding, apartment expansion and a rooftop garden.

It is first-person, single-player, and runs on Steam Deck. The developers confirmed it is not entering Early Access — this is the complete release.

Every patch after launch, from Update #1 on 8 September to Update #9 on 18 September, is listed on the patch notes page.

Why the game was rebuilt once

The developers were asked directly why Tiny Eden went through redevelopment. Their answer was short: they wanted to deliver a higher-quality experience.

That history explains why playtest-era coverage can describe systems differently from the shipped game — and why footage from either pre-release build should be checked against the 1.0 release.
