Tiny Eden

Tiny Eden: what each project needs

A community sheet that the developers pointed players to lists the items for ten projects, from the Genetic Lab and the Drone Station to the four calendula of the Biosphere. Most ask for cooked dishes plus planks, fasteners and textiles, and three need an item that a quest hands you. The sheet is a work in progress, and Update #10 changed how projects complete: they can no longer be finished before every requirement is met.

The ten projects at a glance

The list comes from the Project Requirements tab of an unofficial community sheet, which the developers linked in a Steam reply on 21 September. The tab is marked work in progress, so a project can be missing an item or carry an out-of-date count, and the sheet's own names for dishes are copied as it writes them.

The first column follows the sheet, which pairs a quest with its project. The requirement counts are the sheet's, and the game's own requirement screen is what to trust when the two differ.

Planks, fasteners and textiles

Five of the ten projects ask for building materials. The Rooftop Pond and the roof Drone Station have the largest lists on the sheet, at 30 and 40 planks. Across the four projects that list planks the totals are 105 planks and 85 fasteners, and the textiles across all five material projects come to 100.

A player says the planks used for building pots are sold in the DIY Club shop, on the first line of the All tab, and that the textile for upgrading them is sold there too. Whether every project's materials come from that shop is not stated.

The items a quest hands you

Three projects list an item that the sheet says a quest gives you: the Database for the Genetic Lab, the License for Code Green HQ, and the Navigation Chip for the Drone Station. The sheet names the quest each comes from, and each of the three is a step where players report getting stuck.

The Navigation Chip is the sheet's spelling of the item the site covers as the Navigational chip; the sheet says it comes from the Hot Conference quest, which is the pepper questline on the hot pepper page. The Database is on the database books page.

  1. Step 1: Database

From the Get the Database quest, per the sheet. It goes into the Genetic Lab project.

  2. Step 2: License

From the Cover-Up quest, per the sheet. It goes into the Code Green HQ project.

  3. Step 3: Navigation Chip

From the Hot Conference quest, per the sheet. It goes into the Drone Station project.

What faction reputation unlocks

The sheet's tips tab lists what each faction's reputation opens. Room keys come from four of the five shops, and the Scouts unlock the roof construction zones one level at a time. That fits the advice players give when a quest step will not start: fill orders to raise your reputation with the faction you need.

The five shops are on the money page. The sheet writes reputation as Rep followed by a number.

Other tips from the same sheet

The tips tab holds a few more claims worth checking against your own save. They are community statements and are marked as such.

  • The Vacuum Cleaner can pick up biomass.
  • The storage cabinet behind EN-G1, the drone, is infinite storage, like the fridge and the drone hub.
  • You can only have six drones in the apartment.
  • Utility bills show in the Bank on the tablet; unpaid, they reduce income from orders and the shop.
  • Seeds are cheapest in July.
  • Reject orders if you want different ones, but do not accept the five you cannot reject unless you can finish them.

Not confirmed yet

  • The developers have not published their own list of project requirements.
  • The sheet is marked work in progress, so counts may lag behind the latest updates.
  • Whether the quest each project belongs to matches the names in the game is not confirmed.
