Tiny Eden soil & location planner
In Tiny Eden a plant does not just need soil — it needs the right spot. Light and temperature both depend on where you place it and the season. Pick a location and a season below to see what conditions you will actually get, and how the seven soil components shape the mix.
Indoor room in spring
- Temperature
- warm
- Light
- low
This will read warm. An air conditioner is the tool to bring it down if a plant wants cooler.
Low light. Add a grow light, or move the plant somewhere brighter.
Warmest of the three zones. Light depends entirely on window placement, so many indoor spots need a grow light.
Building the soil mix
Soil is blended from 6 named components (plus one the developers have not revealed), and the mix sets the four properties every plant reads — npk and micronutrients, aeration, water permeability and retention, acidity. The component names and those four properties are straight from the official FAQ; what each component does below is the real-world gardening role it plays, which the developers say the game aims to follow:
- compost — the organic, nutrient-carrying fraction
- sand — improves drainage and structure
- clay — adds density and holds nutrients
- perlite — opens the mix up for aeration
- coco coir — holds water without waterlogging
- peat — adds organic bulk and lowers pH
This planner uses the growing rules the developers have confirmed in the official FAQ. It does not invent exact per-plant mix ratios, because those have not been published — the game is not out yet. Once the game launches on 7 September 2026 and real values are known, this will be upgraded into a precise mix calculator.
