Bought a recipe, but it is missing from the stove?

Check the Parcel Box first. Buying a recipe pays for it; collecting the delivery adds it to your cooking list. Take the recipe out of the box, then return to the stove. Blueprints need collecting too.

Collect the recipe before buying it again

Reloading does not collect a waiting delivery. Check the box before buying the recipe again.

  1. Step 1: Check what you actually bought

    A recipe unlocks a dish; produce and kitchen staples are its ingredients. Owning beans is not the same as owning Bean Stir-Fry.

  2. Step 2: Collect the delivery

    Open the Parcel Box and retrieve the recipe. Purchased blueprints also need collecting.

  3. Step 3: Return to the stove

    Look for the dish in the cooking list. For quantities, use the recipe and ingredient table.

Missing recipe or missing ingredients?

The stove uses supplies from your inventory and the fridge. Increasing portions needs more ingredients; kitchen upgrades explain the portion controls. These checks address different problems, so first establish whether the recipe is absent or simply unavailable to cook.

The dish is not in the list

  • Check whether you bought its recipe.
  • Check the Parcel Box for the delivery.
  • Collect it before trying another purchase or reload.

The dish is listed but cannot cook

  • Check each ingredient and its quantity.
  • Check the chosen portion size: upgrades change how much you make.
  • Compare your supplies with the dish's ingredients.

The video opens at the stove's recipe screen. Vitamin Salad is already in the list, with its ingredient slots and Start Cooking button. Compare that with your screen: is the dish missing entirely, or are you short of an ingredient?

Rice, timing and a dish stuck on the stove

If the delivery is collected and you have enough ingredients but still cannot select the dish, use Esc → Report a bug. Name the dish and explain what happens at the stove.
